The cost of a rough start01

A slow start is expensive, for the company and the new hire.

Your new hires spend months at a fraction of their potential, and decide early whether to stay. Every question one of them hesitates to ask lands on a manager or #help, then gets asked again by the next hire.

8months

to reach full productivity (SHRM estimates 8–12). Until then, output climbs slowly from ~25% to 75%.

70%

of new hires decide within their first month whether the job's a fit; 29% within the first week (BambooHR).

Ramped by month 3
The slow, frustrating early months are the curve Fello exists to compress. Our first design partners are measuring it with us. Target line illustrative. Baseline sources: SHRM; BambooHR (2023); Zippia.
How it works02

One companion. The whole company.

Fello teaches your tools, your processes, and the way your company actually works, one question at a time, on the screen you're already looking at.

01

Answers, out loud

Hold two keys and just ask. Fello replies in plain language, in your company's own words, so nobody has to dig through the wiki or wait on Slack.

02

Points to the button

Fello flies to the exact thing to click, right on the screen you're already looking at, and waits for your click before moving on. Set the priority, add the internal note, reassign to Tier 2: it walks a real escalation one step at a time, in the right order.

03

Knows your company and your tools

It learns from the HR and IT docs you already have: the tools, the processes, the vocabulary, the way things actually get done. And when a new tool rolls out: "Clay just rolled out to the Sales team. Want me to show you how it works?"

04

Teach it a task once

Do it one time while Fello watches. It writes out the steps, cleans up the misclicks, and turns your demonstration into a guide anyone on your team can follow, in any language.

  • Record your own. The task you only do once a quarter is waiting for you the next time, so nobody has to remember it.
  • Deploy a pack to a department. Your new joiners arrive with your team's workflows already there.
Set-up03

Live in a few days, without an implementation project.

01

Install on your machines

A quiet desktop companion for Mac & Windows. There's nothing server-side to deploy and nothing for IT to wire up.

02

Point it at your company

Give it your docs, key terms, and the right link for each recurring need, like holidays, expenses, and the VPN.

03

Record your five workflows

Do each most-asked task once while Fello watches. It writes the guide and the trigger phrases itself.

A few days end to end, and most of it is just doing your own tasks once. Every hire after that benefits.

Features04

Built for how your company already runs.

Security details for IT
Sits on top of everything
A desktop companion for Mac & Windows that overlays the software you already run, with no SDK and no integration project.
Speaks your language
Ask in any language and the reply, the voice, and every guided step follow along. Saved workflows translate in one tap.
Confirms, never invents
Facts come from documentation you keep current, and links only from the ones you saved. Update the docs and Fello is up to date.
Remembers each employee
Fello knows your role, your goals, and the tools your team runs, so its guidance fits the job you were hired to do. Every remembered fact stays visible, editable, and deletable by you.
New tool? Teach Fello first
Roll out a tool by teaching Fello its workflows, and it onboards every team on it from day one. When a tool changes, re-teaching takes a minute.
Our philosophy05

Don't replace humans with AI. Back them up.

Fello takes the repetitive questions off your people team's plate, so you can spend the first weeks on the human moments that actually make someone stay.

A note from the founderJustin, founder of Fello

Everyone remembers being the new person, eyes fixed on the #help channel in Slack, wondering if the fifth question is one too many. Software has never been more powerful, and yet most people only ever use a fraction of it. Asking for help at work is still as awkward as it always was. I'm building Fello to change that: a colleague on your screen who never gets tired of questions. No more "sorry if this is a dumb question." Just ask, without thinking twice.

Questions06

The questions HR teams ask first.

Does Fello need to integrate with our tools?

No. There's no SDK and no integration project. Fello is a desktop app for Mac & Windows that sits on top of your existing software, native apps and browser tabs alike, so it works across whatever stack you already run on day one.

How does it learn our company?

Three ways. It learns from the HR and IT documents you already have; you give it a short company profile (your terms, your links); and you can teach it any task by doing it once while it watches. That last part is the one nobody else does.

Is our data safe?

Your company knowledge, saved workflows and personal profiles are stored in plain files on your own machines, with no Fello account and no backend holding them. To answer a question, Fello sends it to the AI model with the context it needs: a screenshot of your screen, the recent conversation, the company profile, summaries of your documents, and your own profile, including what Fello remembers about you. Each document is also sent once, in full, when it's added, to be summarized. Passwords typed while teaching it a task are detected and discarded, never stored. We'll gladly walk your security reviewer through the details.

Will it start clicking things on its own?

No. While Fello is guiding, pointing is all it can do. Acting on your behalf is a separate capability that ships switched off, and a guiding session can't escalate into it. The code itself enforces that boundary.

How long does setup take?

A few days. Point Fello at your docs, fill in the company profile, and record the handful of tasks new joiners always get stuck on; each one takes about as long as doing the task once.

How is this different from a WalkMe-style adoption platform?

Adoption platforms need an SDK or browser extension, per-app configuration, and an implementation project, and they mostly live inside the browser. Fello installs in minutes, works across every app on the Mac including desktop ones, answers out loud, and learns a workflow from watching you do it once. It's the difference between building flows and just doing the task one time. See the full side-by-side →
